We bid farewell to our Classof 2026 as they head off to prepare for their A Levels. To all Saints, Up and On!
Shine Brighter Like the Light of Dawn
The St Andrew's Junior College community gathered to celebrate the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2026. Guided by the theme "Shine Brighter Like the Light of Dawn," the event served as both a thanksgiving for the cohort’s journey and a send-off as students prepare to embark on their next chapter.
The occasion was graced by Mr Tan, Chairman of the Board of Governors, alongside representatives from the Parent Support Group (PSG) and parents, joining staff and students to mark this significant milestone.
Celebrating Excellence and Exemplary Character
The ceremony commenced with a celebration of student effort and academic growth during the Preliminary Examinations. Beyond academic milestones, the college placed special emphasis on character formation by recognizing students who consistently demonstrated exemplary character, embodying the core values of WISE & TRUE through leadership and service.
Retrospectives, Reminders, and Celebration
The story of the Class of 2026 was captured through a series of dedicated video presentations:
Student Reflection Video: Produced entirely by the students, this video chronicled shared memories, everyday moments in the compound, and the bonds forged over their time in college.
Department Blessings: Each academic department prepared dedicated videos offering practical reminders for the upcoming A-Level examinations, paired with heartfelt well-wishes for the future.
Injecting warmth and celebration into the event, school leaders and teachers surprised the cohort with a choreographed dance performance, celebrating the camaraderie between staff and students.
One Family Unbroken
The formal proceedings concluded on a reflective note as the entire hall stood together for the traditional singing of the College Hymn, the College Song, and the End-of-Term Hymn. Graduands, parents, and staff then gathered at the dining hall for a celebratory buffet, sharing reflections and taking photos to capture their final formal day as a cohort.
As the Class of 2026 prepares for their final push toward the A-Levels, the college community keeps them in thought and prayer, confident that they will continue to shine brightly wherever their paths lead.
